LOLMAFIA!

I am addicted to those web sites with pictures of pets and idiosyncratic captions. If ever I am in a bad mood at work, I'll just pop open the following websites and instantaneously burst out laughing:

Up Close and Personal

Never realized my camera had a setting for close ups...

than a really lazy American Bulldog?

The theme for this weeks seems to be hiking.

With the weather cooling off (even the appearance of rain!),
the Mafia has decided to take full advantage of it.




"Move them hips, Ma!
Even I can move mine faster and mine are broken!"

The Pugs seem to be in Turbo Boost mode...


Bruno decides to go hunting for the perfect log
for Dad to throw into our destination...

Um...looks like the river is a little low!

"That's, ok!" says Gino. "We can still play!"

"I like walking on this funny ground!
Who would have thought that we'd be walking
where the river once was!"

"Yeah! This is some funny soil!" says Gino


The Mafia likes to leave a call signal behind...


Alright...
which one of you bad asses smuggled in the beer?


"Dammit, Gino! I told you Ma would find out!" exclaims Vinnie.
"Run for it before she grounds us!"

Pugs on the loose!



"Wait! What's that over there?"
asks Vinnie as he applies his Pug Brakes...

"What are these?" asks Vinnie

Why, they're magical River Sunglasses!

"Ya, right!" says Vinnie.
"Magical my Pug butt! Only a dummy would believe that!"

"HEY!" shouts Gino
"If Ma says they're magical, then they are magical!
Now shut up and show Ma some respect!"


"Hey, Ma! You like my Mud Boots?"

And so ends the hike...
another trail added to our tally!

Hiking Hounds. . .

Today is a big day for The Family.

Ma and Dad have been married for 4 years.

They eloped and would do it again in a heartbeat.

To celebrate, they took us hiking.

The end destination was well worth the sore feet and paws.


Let’s get this hike started!

Just follow the butts, Ma!


The men will lead this hike!


There’s only one cool way to hike—with your tongue hangin’ out!


Anyone bring a ruler? I think Vinnie wins!

Perfect weather, perfect dogs!


All the school kids so sick of books, they like the punk and the metal band.
When the buzzer rings (oh whey oh) ...they're walking like an Egyptian!


Seriously Vinnie, this trying to fly stuff...it's getting a bit creepy!


The only thing I can guarantee you that he loves
more than his Daddy are sticks!


Yes, they do have matching vets.
Yes, all the cool kids are wearing them. :)

When people ask my why I have three dogs,
I tell them "For the smiles."

The Fun Police Does Not Exclude Family!

The Mafiosos decided to call up their cousin, Bison the Rhodesian Ridgeback, and see if all was well. Little did Bison know that the Fun Police doesn't bend the rules for family!


Right away, the pugs checked the area for any hazards.
"Gino, you check that area & I'll check over here," commanded Fun Police Vinnie.



"Alright, the area is clear. But remember, you are not to have any fun!" warns Gino.



Bruno tries to give Bison some advice.
"Don't listen to the stupid Pugs," Bruno said. "They think they can tell us what to do! Ignore them!"


But deciding to not listen to the Fun Police is not a very wise choice!
They are alert to everything!

"Gino! I see Bison is having fun! Put a stop to it! NOW!" exclaims Vinnie.


"I'm on it!" assures Gino.


"Excuse me! I'm going to have to ask you to stop having fun!" warns Gino.



Uh oh...I think Bison might be heeding Bruno's advice!
"Hey! Don't make me give you a ticket!" yells Gino.


Alert! Alert! Ridgeback on the loose!
"He's making a run for it! Vinnie, I need back up!" exclaims Gino.



"Vinnie! BACK UP! He's getting away!!" Gino frantically yells.



Sensing the urgency, Vinnie brings out the big guns.
"I'll be there in a jiffy! I'm using my Fun Police powers to fly!"



 "Aha! Landed in front of him! Stop in the name of the Fun Police!" shouts Vinnie.



The pugs safely contain the perpetrator.
Bison, however is not pleased that he was singled out!
Bison says "If I can't have any fun, than neither can Bruno!"


"I'll take care of this!" exclaims Gino.
"You stop that! No having fun with sticks!"


Boys and girls, the moral of today's story can be summarized rather easily:
Never underestimate the powers of the Fun Police!

After much encouragement from fans of the Canine Mafia,
The Mafiosos now have their very own blog.
Their picture adventures have sparked a fan base
and this a blog was the only social solution!

Who would have thought that two Pugs and an American Bulldog
would have more friends than me!? HA!


I can pretty much guarantee you a new adventure every Mondays.
My husband makes it a requisite that I get off my ass on Mondays (damn him!)
and join him in discovering new swimming and hiking locations
in the greater Sacramento Area.

And of course, wherever we go, so do the boys!
